About the Schumachers
Chef John

Chef John grew up on a small farm in Wheaton, MN just after the end of World War II.  As a child, he experienced great difficulty reading, spelling and writing, a condition that was later diagnosed as dyslexia.  The classroom represented frustration and failure. more

The Doggies

Howie and Stanley are the Schumachers’ beloved Tibetan Terriers.  They are a hypoallergenic , non-shedding, rare companion  breed. Stanley is obviously "Cheffy’s" dog as evidenced by his girth.  His passion is food and keeping track of his chef.  He is currently on a diet. more
